Private Applicator Certification Exams Hosted in Scott County

For anyone wishing to obtain their private applicator certification to apply Restricted Use Pesticides or Manure from a CAFO, an exam session is scheduled at the Scott County Fairgrounds Saddle Club building on Feb. 1st. Exams can be taken anytime between 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Cheri Jansen with Purdue Pesticide Program will administer the exams. Training sessions are offered before the exams. Training for the private applicator pesticide core exam will be from 9:00-12:30 for exam-takers wishing to participate. Training for the Private Applicator Category 14 Manure Application certification will be 1:30-2:30. The exam session will start at 3 p.m. You do not have to attend the training to take the exam.

Both exams can be taken with no cost to you. Participants will need to bring a photo ID and or driver's license. Exams are closed-book, multiple choice. Training Manuals can be purchased from The Education Store 765-494-6794 or https://mdc.itap.purdue.edu/.
